15+ Toddler Gift Ideas

I can’t believe it but, my son is turning 2 this month! Which means it’s time to put together a gift guide.

Due to limited space in my home I really try to keep our toy collection as small as possible. At two my son tends to play with the same few toys while the others collect dust and take up me entire living room…

Below is a list of my favorite toddler gift ideas!

Fun & Educational Gifts

These Talking Flash Cards for Toddlers keep my son busy for 30 minutes to an hour! I love that they are a screen free activity that help with learning to talking. I love these so much I have a car set and a house set!

Another one of my favorites is this Farmer’s Market Color Sorting Set. I love this toy because it’s a fun way to learn colors as well as sorting. As an added bonus this is perfect if the toddler already has a play kitchen, as these fruits can be used with that as well!

Finally this LeapFrog Learning Friends 100 Words Book is on my son’s wish list this year. I am always looking for screen free toys that will keep him entertained at home and on the go and this is perfect! My son is not saying as many words as “he should be” according to my pediatrician, so this toy I think will help to expand his vocabulary in a fun way!

Practical Gifts - Parents will love you for these!

If you have a toddler who is always looking to help with everything, then this Foldable Toddler Kitchen Tower is a MUST HAVE. I know this is a pricier gift for a toddler’s birthday, but it would be a great group gift idea.

With all the toddler towers out there, I chose this one because it is very sturdy, foldable and doesn’t take up much room.

This is another gift that is pricey and would be best as a group gift, but this Twin Floor Bed with Safet Guardrails and Slats is on my son wish list this year because he is almost ready to transition out of his crib. I did so much research as there is a lot of similar options out there and I loved this one the most because it doesn’t have a door and looks very sturdy and safe.

The last practical gift I have on my son lists is this Kids Bento-Style 5-Compartmet Lunch Box. I have one of these lunch boxes and I am constantly having to wash it for the 3 days a week my son goes to daycare. I love this lunch box because it keeps all the food separate, gives lots of options and is leak proof! This is a great gift because they are on the pricy side for a lunch box but not too pricey for a gift.

To go with the lunch box, you can also get the matching Kids Stainless Steel Utensil Set.

Bath Toys - Mold Free

Okay so these could have also gone under education, but they are a bath toy as well! These Foam Bath Alphabet Letters are my FAVORITE.

With so many different alphabet letter bath toys these are my favorite because they are not only letters, but they are puzzles too! This set comes with a mesh organizer to store them in as well which is a bonus.

You can’t go wrong with these Textured Suction Bath Toys, these are so fun to connect, build and practice fine motor skills. My son loves these and will play with them for sometimes the entire bath.

I love these Light Up Bath Toys, because they are just so cute! They change color when they hit the water and even come with a book and mesh organizer. I am going to go with the dinos because that what I think my son will like the most, but they have other options as well!

Active Toys

My son loves these Stepping Stones and will play on them for quite a while! I love them because they help to promote balance and coordination. This Playskool Sit ‘n Spin is a classic, I had the exact same one as a child and loved it so much! Such a nostalgic gift that I know my son will love. Finally this RaboSky Bean Bag Toss Game is a family favorite! We love playing this in the living room and getting the whole family involved.

Outdoor Toys

This 10 in 1 Toddler Slide is a lifesaver when I need to get things done but dont want to put the TV on. We have ours inside in our playroom but it is technically and indoor or outdoor toy! There are so many things my son loves about this and will play on it almost every day. Well worth the price. This Little Tikes T-Ball set is another classic that any toddler will love!

I was beyond exited to gift this Little Tykes Cozy Truck to my toddler for his 2nd birthday! He will play in this for hours and we also got him the Little Tykes Cozy Pumper to give him a more realistic driving experience. I was sure if he would like the pumper but he loved it.

My favorite toddler gift for the summer months is this Step2 Rain Showers Splash Pond Water Table. Every toddler loves this and it can be used for years.

Finally this Little Tikes Cape Cottage Playhouse is an absolute blast, especially when there are friends over. My son love his little house and will always want to play in there.
